Week Four

More pencils.

I just keep pages six and seven blank for more notes and maybe even a drawing or two. But, I'm a lousy drawer so I don't.

What I have done this week is a comparison of three different pencils I have on hand. They all feel quite nice to write with, but I think my favourite is the middle one, The California Republic Palimino HB. It's the softest of the three and the line just seems to flow better than the others. But I'd feel fine using any one of them.

Week three.

I like bikes.

I usually pick lined note pages for the fourth and fifth pages and invariably I find something bike related to note down. The Dance Life on MTV? My wife and kids are addicted to So You Think You Can Dance. When I saw a preview for the J-Lo show on MTV I thought they might like it. If I don't write it down, I'll forget.

The bike I'm working on these days is a Kogswell P/R.

PocketMod the Second.

Week two.

On pages two and three I like to have weekly calendars. I'm not much of a daytimer person nor are my days very busy, so a week per page is good enough for me. The second week on the adjacent page is good for keeping surprises to a minimum.

The pencil is a Faber-Castell Grip 2001

See you next week.

PocketMod the First.

I'm not so good at self-exposition. So here's a simple blog to chronicle a year's worth of PocketMods.

What's a PocketMod? Well, it's the nifty little notebook pictured here that you can create, filled with a bunch of tools of your choice: Calandars, lines, lists, even games. Check it out here: http://pocketmod.com/. They can explain better than I can.

See you next week.
